A note from Christine Turcotte of Willow Tree Pottery (Quesnel)
All of my pottery pieces are made with food safe glazes and are dishwasher, microwave and oven safe, I recommend if you purchase anything with decorative touches such as leaves and berries that you hand wash to avoid damage in the dishwasher.
I have recently moved to Quesnel from Fort McMurray, AB where I lived, worked and raised my family with my husband Denis for the past 15 years.
I learned how to pot and work with clay 7 years ago at the Fort McMurray Potters Guild, joining the guild soon afterwards. As a guild member I was able to develop my skills through mentorship with senior members as well as numerous workshops and a summer course at Reedeer College.
For the last 3 years I have been actively selling my work and have been teaching children’s and adults pottery classes at the Fort McMurray Guild.  With the move to Quesnel I am looking forward to working in my own studio and producing new work to offer my customers.
