Art Walk

August 9, 2024 – September 4, 2024

Each year hundreds of people stroll the streets of Downtown Williams Lake as our downtown businesses turn into self-guided mini art galleries for three weeks. Downtown businesses are paired with local and regional artists who work in a variety of visual mediums. From paint and sketch, to pottery and quilting, to wood carving and jewelry, and much, much more, you are sure to find something you love. Grab one of our Art Walk guides from participating locations and stamp your way towards our grand prize draw for a $500 Art Walk credit to purchase art from one of our participating artists. For Artists

We welcome artists, both new and returning favourites, in a wide variety of mediums. Last year’s Art Walkers saw paintings, drawings, photography, wood carvings, sculpture, jewelry and multi-media art. Applications for the 2024 Art Walk will be available starting April 2, 2024.

For Downtown Businesses

This event is not possible without the engaged downtown businesses and non-profits who are willing to make space for the arts. This event brings hundreds of potential customers right through your door. Once they are there, use your creativity to showcase what your business has to offer. We’d be happy to help you come up with some ideas! If you have appropriate space and you would like to sign up as an Art Walk location, we would love to have you. Applications for the 2024 Art Walk will be available starting April 2, 2024.
